Everyone asks the same thing: what happens when? This is the shape of a typical evening, built backwards from your last song. Yours gets mapped out with you before the day.

Paul arrives and sets up
Kit in, rigged, sound checked and cables tidied away well before anyone sees the room. By the time your guests walk in, the booth looks like part of the venue, not a work in progress.

Everything is ready and running. Background music at a level people can talk over, because nobody wants to shout at their nan across a table.
The room changes gear
Food winds down, tables move, the floor opens up. Paul works the timings with the venue team so the gap doesn't drag and the energy doesn't drop through the floor.
The bit most people forget to planThe big moment
First dance, birthday entrance, awards, cake cutting, whatever yours is. Planned properly, cued at the right second, and with everyone exactly where they need to be for it.
Dry ice availableFilling the floor
The songs that get the older guests up before they head off. Motown, soul, a bit of disco. This hour decides whether the rest of the night works.
Full tilt
Lighting up, tempo up. Your requests, your must-plays, and whatever the room is clearly asking for. Paul watches the floor and plays to it.
The final half hour
The big singalongs and the best dance & party tunes possible, arms in the air, phones out. This is the part that ends up on Socials.
Your last song
You choose it. Paul makes sure the room knows it's coming so the floor is packed for it, then packs down quietly while you say your goodbyes.

The DJ booth is covered in a black cloth as standard, but we have options of it being in white or with an LED star cloth. It will look like it belongs in your photos, not like a market stall.

March, Wisbech, Peterborough, Ely, Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, Chatteris, Whittlesey and the surrounding villages.
Norfolk & Suffolk
Norwich, King's Lynn, Downham Market, Thetford, Swaffham, Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Mildenhall and Ipswich.
Lincolnshire
Stamford, Spalding, Bourne, Holbeach, Long Sutton and the south of the county.
The Midlands
Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Rutland, Leicestershire and northern Hertfordshire.
Weddings, birthday parties, corporate and Christmas parties, festivals, fireworks nights, pubs, clubs, village halls, community centres and garden parties, all catered for. Travel outside these areas is usually fine, there may just be a mileage contribution.

DJ Paul Davies became an integral part of our event. Paul headlined Friday night, the lights & sound were on point as were the song choices. I would say he raised the roof but we were in a field (you get the idea)! He played for the crowd and read them perfectly to keep the dancing going right until the very last beat. He also stepped in last minute and headlined Saturday night when the booked act couldn't make it, not an easy task with the mix of age groups at a family festival, but he SMASHED IT! If you cut Paul in half I am sure he would read D.I.S.C.O through the middle. A great DJ, host and thoroughly nice guy.

Paul supported our Group for the second year running at March Scout Fireworks. Yet again he gave our huge crowd an epic performance, an eclectic mix of music and an unbelievable light show. The laser lights and smoke across the field made for a fantastic atmosphere.
He went above and beyond what I expected to make sure the night was perfect. His equipment, from lights to sound, was way beyond anything I could have imagined and it created such a great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy, and a night we won't forget.

How far do you travel? +
Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk as standard. Further afield is usually fine, there may just be a mileage contribution. Ask and Paul will tell you straight away.
Can we choose the music? +
Yes, of course! We welcome you to provide a playlist.
What about requests on the night? +
Yes. Requests are welcomed from all of your guests on the night, for maximum dancing on the dance floor.
How is Paul different? +
Paul always plays the music that your guests want to listen to and dance to.
How long do you play for? +
This will be in line with whatever you book with Paul.
Insured and PAT tested? +
Yes to both. Public liability insurance and PAT certificates are available to you upon request, where required.
